Being an amateur diatomist, I use currently various reference books (see Bibliography) for diatom systematic, but, living in a small village in western Brittany, I have difficulties to consult recent publications and books. So :
         - At the present time, I have been unable to name several species that I have observed,
         - The names that I have used for some species likely are not up to date, but rather they correspond to obsolete ones.
